The Contra Costa County Fair includes the annual county fair, usually held for several days in early June, and the fall fair in November.

Mangini Museum Agricultural Museum is a year-round farm that offers tours. Opened in the summer of 1998, the museum pays tribute to the days when Contra Costa County was predominantly farms and ranches. A classroom and garden were added and an educational program was started that now serves local youth. Agriculture, food, nutrition and the environment are addressed through hands-on learning. Of particular interest in the program are questions such as where food comes from, how it gets to your dinner table and how food nourishes us. Historic farming equipment is on display in this special learning space.

Delta Discovery Cruises departs from the port in Antioch and offers visitors year-round boat cruises. Their locations include Antioch, 5 Marina Plaza, Antioch, California.

Somersville Towne Shopping Center & Farmer’s Market. The Farmer’s Market is an annual event that takes place from spring to mid to late fall. It is recognized as the best for local fruits and vegetables because Somersville Towne Center transports the farm to Antioch.

Antioch El Campanile – Historic Downtown Theater The El Campanile Theater opened its doors to the City of Antioch and the Diablo Valley on November 1, 1928. El Campanil (the tower of bells) is Spanish for both its name and architecture, and offered an auditorium with approx. 1100 seats, as well as a limited stage and back of the hall to support vaudeville entertainment. El Campanil was also a single-screen movie theater. Former El Campanil Theater performers to have taken the stage at the El Campanil Theater included Roy Rogers with his Horse Trigger, Sally Rand the fan dancer, Edgar Bergen, Donald O’Connor, Ted Lewis, Al Jolson, The Three Stooges, Gene Autry, Debbie Reynolds, The Kingston Trio, and The Limeliters.

The Antioch Historical Museum contains a historical collection and information about the local past.

Black Diamond Coal Mines, a historic preserve dating back to the 1860s, encompasses 3,650 acres of history and offers recreational opportunities such as hiking, picnicking, and swimming.

Antioch Marina complex, marina. The marina is located at the foot of L Street in Marina Plaza. It is possible to rent berths. The Antioch Marina, built in 1988, is located at the foot of L Street in Antioch. The marina has berths from 24 to 70 feet with eighty-two covered berths from 32 to 50 feet. All berths are constructed of concrete, providing a smooth sailing experience with a clean, smooth dock surface. Overnight visitors and yacht club cruises are welcome.

Lone Tree Golf Course is an 18-hole public course. Lone Tree was built on the open hillsides adjacent to Mount Diablo State Park in 1934, and in the early 1950s, 9 more holes were built. In 1990, most of the greens were converted to sand-based greens – holes #12 and #15 are the only two greens that are of the original design and require high accuracy from players, being the two smallest greens on the course.
