ART COLLECTION & DISPLAYS
In September, 2007, long-time Antioch resident
Virginia Fleming, gave the museum several beautiful watercolors of
Antioch and Delta scenes. Virginia has been a resident since the early
1940's and her family continues to operate Lloyd's Holiday Harbor at 415
Fleming Lane off Wilbur Avenue near the bridge. Virginia was a student
of Evelyn Webb, and created these paintings in the late 1970's and
1980's. Each painting has been professionally framed and is a wonderful
addition to the museum's permanent art collection.
A visit to the museum can see paintings and drawings
from several local artists and historic artists. The following artists
have works on display at various times throughout the year:
