Photos from artist's reception / Participating artist list / Winner Information

On Saturday, August 26th, the public is welcome to come and watch art being created by local artists painting in the historic Rivertown area  from early morning until approximately 3 PM. Artists will be painting " en plein air ", a French expression which means "in the open air".  An artists’ reception will follow from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Lynn House Gallery. Artworks created that day and prior work of the artists will be on display through September 23rd.

This year there will be prizes awarded; a first place prize of $200, a second place prize of $100, and a third place prize of $50. The awards ceremony will be held during the reception at 5:00 pm. We are pleased to have Kathryn Weller-Renfrow, Executive Director of Arts Benicia serve as the judge for this event.
