Los Medanos College Wines of Contra Costa Fundraiser
& Antioch Artists Exhibit
        

At the Antioch Historical Society Museum

 

May 12th: Los Medanos College Foundation Fundraiser & Artists of Antioch Exhibit -- Fundraiser

May 19th - June 2nd: Artists of Antioch Exhibit -- Free Admission


 

The Arts & Cultural Foundation of Antioch is proud to present art works for the Los Medanos College Foundation  The Wines of Contra Costa Fundraiser event to be held at the Antioch Historical Society Museum on Saturday, May 12, from 3 - 6 PM. See photos of 2006 event.

 

Among the artists participating are well-known local artists:
 

  • CELIA HUDDLESTON: versatile artist and teacher who works in both Western and Eastern traditions  

  • BILL PASKEWITZ: painter, heads the Art department at Las Positas College in Livermore

  • MARK ROBERTS: traditional painter, curator of the Lynn House Gallery, teacher at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco

  • JEANNE WALLEN: photographer

  •  

    Tickets are $30 before May 4th and $35 beginning May 5th. Grand Raffle Prize: Sonoma Mission Inn gift certificate (prize worth over $500) Rejuvenation Package includes: one night room accommodation, breakfast for two each morning, one 50-minute spa treatment per person per paid night. Raffle tickets maybe purchased for $10 each. You do not need to be present to win. California Raffle Registration #R-5278

     

    Proceeds benefit scholarships and educational programs at Los Medanos College and the Los Medanos College Brentwood Center.  To purchase tickets for the Wines of Contra Costa Event, contact the Los Medanos College Foundation at (925) 439-2181 ext. 3215.

     

    MAY 19th  - JUNE 2nd, the Antioch Artist Exhibit remains at the Antioch Historical Society and will be available for viewing by the general public at no charge. The Antioch Historical Society Museum is open Wednesdays & Saturdays from 1-4 PM and there is no admission fee during normal operating hours (with the exception the special LMC event on May 13th). The museum is located at 1500 W. Fourth Street, Antioch.
