HISPANIC ART EXHIBIT
ART WORKS OF JOHN ACOSTA & MARINA PEREZ - WONG

John Acosta is a local artist and long time resident of Antioch and has had numerous One Artist Shows, with previous exhibits at the Los Medanos College Gallery and the Impulse Gallery. Acosta has received numerous awards for his paintings, among those was the 1998 Excellence award at the Pittsburg Collaborative Art Show. John Acosta has murals on permanent display at the New Mecca cafe in Pittsburg.

Marina Perez - Wong is a talented young artist. She grew up in Antioch and is a recent graduate from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. Marina is now living and working as an artist in San Francisco.

The artist’s reception is on Saturday, October 14, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm and will include food and entertainment provided by GATO (Give Always To Others).

The Lynn House Gallery is located at 809 W. 1st Street in Antioch (across from the Amtrak Train Station) and is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, during exhibits from 12 noon - 5 PM. Admission is free.
